Stablecoin risk radar

This tool sketches a qualitative profile of the major stablecoins across four dimensions — reserve transparency, regulation, liquidity and depeg history — with a simple radar chart, so you can see at a glance where its strengths and weaknesses lie. To be clear: this is a static profile we've compiled (high / medium / low), not live scoring, and it doesn't predict the future. Pick a stablecoin below to see its profile.

How to read the four dimensions

  • Reserve transparency: what the reserves are, how often reports come out, how clear it all is. The more transparent, the more reassuring.
  • Regulation: whether the issuer is bound by regulation and whether its compliance path is clear.
  • Liquidity: how easy it is to buy and sell, and how widely it is used. Higher liquidity makes moving funds easier.
  • Depeg history: how severe past deviations from the peg have been. Here "high" means a relatively steady history (milder depegs), while "low" means it has seen clearer depegs — mind the direction.
Don't treat it as a buy/sell score

All four dimensions are qualitative judgements, not precise scores, and they don't predict the future. All three big stablecoins have briefly depegged; none is "absolutely safe." Never put everything into a single stablecoin.

This radar is a static, qualitative compilation, hand-checked as of July 2026: high / medium / low are editorial judgements, not live scoring, not precise data, and no prediction of the future — always go by each issuer's official pages. Not investment advice.
